Job summary

Austill's Educational Therapy Services in Downingtown, PA seeks an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide school-based therapy to students PreK–12 for the 2026-27 year, five days per week, with incentives available.

The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in class through direct therapy, IEP implementation, collaboration with school teams, and ongoing documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Location: Downingtown, PA Timeframe: 26-27 School Year Snapshot: Austill's is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work 5 days per week with school age children in the Downingtown, PA area for the 2026-27 school year Incentives available! Peer mentorship and clinical manager support provided.

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
