Job summary

Austill's Educational Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to deliver school-based therapy for students from preschool through 12th grade in the Landenberg, PA area. The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional classroom participation through direct therapy and IEP implementation.

You will collaborate with school teams, develop IEP goals, and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation: progress notes, data collection, IEP updates and annual reviews.

Location: Landenberg, PA Timeframe: 26-27 School Year Snapshot: Austill's is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work 3 days per week with school age children in the Landenberg, PA area for the 2026-27 school year

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• Data collection
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Fine motor skills
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
