Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist in Illinois to join a multidisciplinary team and deliver pediatric therapy services. You will assess clients, design interventions, and support families to implement learned practices in daily life.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment as needed.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care, regulation, and related skills.
• Support and guide families to foster behaviors and practices from treatment.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
