Job summary

Westside is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team and specialize in areas like Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health.

You will assess clients, implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language, self-care, and regulation, while guiding families to reinforce treatment at home and in daily routines. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in OT and IL licensure are required, with NBCOT eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
