Job summary

Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The OT will provide skilled services to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting, focusing on improving independence, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, creating individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• New York State OT license required.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.
• Assist residents with improving their ability to perform dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and other daily activities.
• Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training as appropriate.
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge information.
• Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, applicable regulations, and professional standards.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life.
