Job summary

La Crescenta Healthcare Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver comprehensive therapy services in a supportive environment. The role offers a salary range of $104,000 - $124,800 with PRN/on-call responsibilities and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include evaluating and planning treatments, conducting tests for strength and mobility, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe discharges and effective care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (BS, MS, or DPT).
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Active California OT license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer and interpret tests for strength, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provide direct clinical treatment per established plan of care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and conduct home assessments as appropriate.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
