UP Health System - Bell is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Occupational Medicine Clinic on a PRN basis. The role involves 8-hour varied day shifts, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities in care planning, wound care, specimen collection and medication administration.

Formación

• Must hold a Michigan LPN license and graduate from an LPN/LVN program.
• BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire.
• IOSH and CAHOC certifications within 6 months of hire.
• BAT and UDS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, and health insurance benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Performs plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care; administers medications as needed; documents care provided.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living: hygiene, nutrition, elimination, ambulation.
• Monitors and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient and families.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider; obtains insurance re‑authorizations as needed.
