Qualificações

• Must hold a Michigan LPN license and graduate from an LPN/LVN program.
• BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire.
• IOSH and CAHOC certifications within 6 months of hire.
• BAT and UDS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, and health insurance benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Performs plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care; administers medications as needed; documents care provided.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living: hygiene, nutrition, elimination, ambulation.
• Monitors and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient and families.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider; obtains insurance re‑authorizations as needed.

How You'll Contribute

A< Clinic LPN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication. Documents patient care given.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Schedules, appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Obtains insurance re-authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a state of Michigan LPN license and have graduated from an LPN or LVN Program.

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) (within 30 days of hire)
• IOSH and CAHOC certifications (within 6 months of hire)
• BAT and UDS certified (within 6 months of hire)
• Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds
