Job summary

UP Health System - Portage is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a wound care clinic. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday day schedule, 8-hour shifts, and a path to meaningful patient care within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates hold a Michigan LPN license, have completed an LPN/LVN program, and maintain BLS certification. Vaccination or declination for influenza is required. Join a system dedicated to community health and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Michigan LPN license is required.
• Graduate from an LPN or LVN program.
• Basic Life Support certification is required (available upon hire).
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient intake data and maintain records.
• Provide patient support considering emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious, and economic factors.
• Assist with routine clinic support activities.
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic clinic environment.
• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under physician supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
