Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 2-month contract at our occupational health clinic in Clay, NY. The role supports on-site care for injured/ill workers and ensures OSHA recordkeeping and compliance.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2pm–10pm or Sundays 6am–6pm, with potential extension or direct placement. RN license in NY required; BSN/ASN and occupational health experience preferred.

• BSN or ASN degree.
• Active RN license to practice in NY.
• Experience in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency, Urgent Care, or related.
• CPR upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides on-site care and follow-up to occupationally injured/ill workers.
• Maintains OSHA records and follows OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains a medical record database and provides reports to management.
• Performs First Aid/CPR/AED training as directed by client.
• Maintains communication with Clinic Physician regarding employee updates.
• Provides injury care with the Incident Intervention after-hours service.
• Counsels employees on employment risk reduction activities.
• Ensures employees have appropriate return-to-work clearances.
• Coordinates new hire exams, medical surveillance and exit exams.
• Leads health and safety training such as ergonomics, bloodborne pathogens, hearing conservation, and hazard communication.
• Case management of occupational illness/injury.
• Case management of lost-time/absent employees for injuries.
• Coordinates regulatory testing and maintains employee lists for compliance.

Registered Nurse needed for a contract opportunity with our occupational health clinic located in Clay, NY. This is an occupational health clinic within an electrical manufacturing facility.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm OR Sundays 6am-6pm

Duration: 2 months with possible extension or direct placement

Pay: $35-48/hr DOE

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provides on-site care and follow-up to occupationally injured/ill workers.
• Responsible for maintaining OSHA records as well as following OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains a medical record database and provides reports to management, as needed.
• Performs First Aid/CPR/AED training as directed by client.
• Maintains communication with the Clinic Physician regarding employee updates.
• Provides injury care with the Incident Intervention after-hours service.
• Provides counseling to employees on employment risk reduction activities.
• Ensures that employees have appropriate return-to-work clearances.
• Coordinates employee new hire exams, medical surveillance and exit exams.
• Leads and provides health and safety training such as ergonomics, blood borne pathogen, hearing conservation, and hazard communication.
• Case management of occupational illness/injury.
• Case management of lost-time/absent employees for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
• Coordinates regulatory testing (drug screening, hearing tests, respirator fit tests and medical evaluations) and maintains employee lists for regulatory compliance, if needed.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BSN or ASN degree
• Active RN license to practice in NY
• Experience inOccupational Health Nursing, Emergency, Urgent Care, or related
• CPR upon hire
