Yoh is seeking a Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a corporate client’s Occupational Health clinic in New York, NY. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an 11/9–12/12 duration and potential extension or permanent placement.

Pay ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, DOE. Qualifications include an accredited Nursing School certificate or AS degree (BSN preferred), current NY RN license, and BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient care needs and conducts nursing evaluations
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further evaluation and care
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope
• Maintains medical equipment and infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records for accuracy
• Educates patients on health promotion and follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates’ degree (A.S.) is required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current hands on training in Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
