Premise Health Inc. in Elko, NV is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our Health Center team. The role supports employees with comprehensive care, screenings, and health education in a safety-focused environment.

The position runs 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday, with one weekend per month. You will perform tests, coordinate return-to-work, manage records, and collaborate with health professionals to promote wellness and prevent injury within the client site.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in state of practice.
• BSN preferred; AS acceptable.
• COHN/COHN-S certification preferred.
• BLS/ACLS required or may be required per contract scope.
• At least three years as an RN in occupational health or similar setting.
• Experience promoting healthy, safe workplaces and return-to-work exams.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure regulatory compliance for clinical operations (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within scope of practice.
• Deliver evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate return-to-work with TPA and client.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, environment, and infection control practices.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and educate patients on health promotion.
• Collaborate with health professionals and departments on health programs and injury prevention.
• Assist with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives.

As a Full-Time Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Elko, NV. The scheduled hours are 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday with one weekend per month of Sat, Sun 8am-2pm. Unique opportunity!

What You’ll Do

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $35.00 - $47.98 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
