Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Elko, NV is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Health Center located in Elko, NV.

The RN will support our Walk-in service line with a rotating schedule of 4x10 shifts from 8am-7pm (Mon-Thu and Tue-Fri), plus one weekend per month 8am-2pm Sat & Sun. You will perform nursing assessments, care, medication administration, and patient education, maintain records, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• Certification in COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
• At least three years of RN experience in emergency room, occupational health, or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.

What You’ll Do

• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
