Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Occupational Health Nurse to provide comprehensive health services for a Washington DC facility. You will conduct emergency treatment, wellness screenings, immunizations, and case management for workers’ compensation while maintaining data in health software.

Responsibilities include trend analysis, program maintenance, and collaboration with the Medical Director and client teams. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license to practice in the DC area (DC/MD/VA).
• CPR and AED certifications.
• COHN-S encouraged but not required.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health services including emergency treatment and wellness initiatives.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and follow-up.
• Conduct screenings (audiometry, spirometry) and immunizations.
• Document injury and wellness data using Occupational Health and Safety software.
• Review health trends and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain medical surveillance program and support the Medical Director.
