Job summary

You will document data in OHM and other databases, coordinate with NP/PA and physicians, develop wellness programs, and ensure compliance with influenza, N95 fit testing, TB testing, and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• 3–4 years nursing experience required.
• 1–2 years occupational health experience preferred.
• RN license in MD or DC required.
• COHN preferred.
• CPR certification within 90 days required.
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and preventive health information through a comprehensive program.
• Documents data into OHM and other databases with accurate data entry.
• Collaborates with NP/PA and physicians to coordinate treatment and referrals.
• Develops wellness programs to improve employee health and work-life balance.
• Implements health compliance programs including influenza, N95 testing, TB testing.
• Liaises with departments to evaluate workplace safety and injury prevention.
• Manages the temporary modified duty and return-to-work process.
• Performs pre-employment physicals and screen for infectious diseases.
• Administers medications and manages inventory per policy.
• Provides exposure follow-up and counseling.
• Oversees mandatory substance abuse monitoring and committee involvement.
