Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Support with front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in the medical record and communicate results to patients as directed.
