Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican in northern Illinois is seeking a licensed occupational therapist for a 100% FTE, full-time position at the UW Health 209 9th St Clinic in Rockford. The role features a day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with one weekend day every four weeks and one rotating holiday per year.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Participates in educational programs on an ongoing basis and completes mandatory CEUs.

  • Deliver occupational therapy services at the UW Health 209 9th St Clinic.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical education initiatives.

Licenses & Certifications
  • Current license from the State of Illinois per department policy. An applicant for employment as an occupational therapist must present acceptable evidence of licensure or authorization to test at the time of employment. An applicant who fails to provide this documentation will not be hired. A new employee will not be allowed to work as an occupational therapist until evidence of licensure eligibility is provided. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
