Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Lead IT Administrator to provide advanced technical support, systems administration, and day-to-day leadership for OCC IT services in Maryland. Reporting to IT Manager, this senior role resolves complex issues and guides Desktop Support.

You will work with WMATA IT and corporate teams to ensure secure operations, manage AD/M365, VPN, and mission-critical systems, plus lead improvements and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AD, M365, and security controls.
• Experience supporting mission-critical transit tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Administer AD users, groups, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Maintain VPN, remote-access, Windows desktops, networks, and telecoms.
• Coordinate resolutions with IT Manager, WMATA IT, corporate IT, and vendors.
• Provide administration for Trapeze, PASS, CMS, ServiceNow, and related apps.
• Support OCC workstations, dispatch systems, and mobile devices.
• Assist with upgrades, deployments, and new technology implementations.
• Monitor performance and coordinate rapid incident responses.
