Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Observation Unit. The RN will manage patient care across the length of stay, using the nursing process and coordinating with the health care team.

Required is an Associate's degree in Nursing; a BSN is preferred with an 8-year timeline for completion. Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and unit-specific certifications are required or pursued as noted.

Formación

• Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing; BSN preferred and must be obtained within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing in Michigan.
• BSN within 8 years of hire is required for Bronson South Haven/KC-specific units.
• Must maintain applicable certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) as required by unit.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients to achieve quality outcomes and timely discharge.
• Perform nursing assessments, planning, diagnosing, implementing and evaluating care.
• Document patient responses and resource use during each shift and communicate with the care team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to patient care assistants and universal service assistants.
