Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Cardiology Unit. The RN will manage patient care, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and support education for patients and families.

The unit emphasizes cardiac knowledge development, safe discharge planning and evidence-based practice. BSN preferred, with required Michigan RN licensure and ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan.
• BLS certification required by completion of core orientation.
• Critical care or ALS as well as other certifications may be required for some RNs, unit specific.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinates discharge planning and collaborates with the health care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Delivers care in a manner that preserves patient autonomy, dignity, confidentiality and rights.
• Applies clinical pathways and documents patient responses and outcomes.
