Qualifications

• BLS certification required; Critical care or ALS may be required for some positions
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze data from computer systems and equipment to plan care
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per policy to achieve quality outcomes and timely discharge
• Coordinate care with other professionals to meet patient needs
• Document patient responses, resource use and anticipated needs during each tour of duty
• Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team
• Assist with discharge planning and family education
