Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for a full-time role requiring 72 hrs per pay period. The RN delivers comprehensive perioperative nursing care, conducts assessments, plans care, and coordinates with the multidisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes and timely discharge.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and BLS certification, with BSN within eight years for some hires.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan.
• BLS certification required by completion of core orientation.
• Critical care or ALS certifications may be required for some RNs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care using the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and document responses.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with the care team to ensure timely patient transitions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to patient care assistants and other team members.
