Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit 4A on a part-time night shift. This fast-paced unit cares for monitored and unmonitored patients, with 50% admitted from ED and a focus on teamwork with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current RN license, BLS, and provides $7,500 sign-on for 12 months RN experience, plus 18% night differential and weekend differential when applicable.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice (or compact/RN).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care.
• Formulate and revise care plans with patient/family input.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care with the health team.
• Document assessments, plans, implementation and outcomes.
• Provide care in accordance with physician orders, policies and standards.
• Participate in unit leadership and education of staff.
