Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• BSN or higher degree preferred; ongoing education may be required.
• Clinical experience in acute care or emergency/observation settings desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in accordance with policy.
• Coordinate with the health care team to develop realistic, measurable care goals.
• Provide direct patient care, supervise staff, and ensure safe, quality outcomes.
• Communicate patient status clearly to team and family; promote continuity of care.
• Participate in unit leadership, education, and mentoring as appropriate.
