Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Nurse Tech for the Observation Unit on the AM shift (7a-7p) in West Columbia, SC. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist with daily living activities, transport, nutrition, and data collection.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1 year of nurse tech experience; BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of experience as a nurse tech.
• BLS required within the first 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates in interventions related to the patient plan of care.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.
• Enters pertinent information into the electronic medical record and maintains charts.
