Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Nurse Tech to join the nursing care team. You will provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, assist with daily living activities, and support patient transport and nutrition services as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, 1 year of nurse tech experience, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential for success in this unit.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of nurse tech experience or substitution with CNA fundamentals course.
• Duties emphasize patient care support and adherence to unit safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures for patients.
• Document and communicate patient changes and care plans in the EMR.
• Restock rooms, prepare equipment, and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Participate in adherence to PI/process improvement activities.
