Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Nurse Tech for the Full Time PM shift (7pm–7am) in West Columbia, SC. The role supports direct patient care under licensed nurses, assists with daily activities, and aids in preparing rooms and discharge processes.

Minimum 1 year as a nurse tech or equivalent, with BLS certification within 90 days. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants, with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year of experience as a nurse tech.
• Substitutable Education & Experience: 1 Year of experience can substitute for NA certification or fundamentals of nursing.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Participates in interventions related to the patient plan of care.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.
• Maintains safety and a comfortable environment for patients.
• Performs environmental and clerical tasks as part of patient care.
