Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Nurse Tech to join the nursing care team. You will provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse and assist with activities of daily living, nutrition, transport, and data collection in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of nurse tech experience or substitution of education for certification, and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year of nursing technician experience preferred; substitutable education can replace experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transport, nutrition, and data collection.
• Document pertinent information into the electronic medical record and support clerical tasks.
