Job summary

Lexington Health's Observation Unit seeks a patient-care focused nursing technician. You will provide direct patient care under licensed supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment on the AM shift (7a–7p). You will document care and support transfer and discharge planning as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year as a nurse tech, and BLS within 90 days. Sign-on bonus offered; benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse tech.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Participates in interventions related to the patient plan of care.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Prepares rooms and equipment for admissions.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient transport.
• Documents required information in the electronic medical record.
