Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports nursing and support staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and provides coaching.
• Oversees patient care planning, implementation and evaluation.

• Ensures effective communication among physicians, patients, families and departments.
• Monitors bed assignments and resource utilization.
• Performs unit rounding to assess care delivery and satisfaction.
• Adheres to infection control, safety and quality standards.
• Leads in emergencies and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
