Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.

• Oversees care planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients.
• Coordinates patient care with healthcare teams and manages flow.
• Facilitates communication among physicians, patients, families, and departments.
• Monitors bed assignments and resource utilization within the unit.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and audits.
• Responds to emergencies within the unit and provides leadership.
