DocuSign is offering a Software Engineer Intern - Observability (Platform) in Seattle. You will help build and scale telemetry pipelines processing metrics, logs, and traces while collaborating with infra and product teams to improve data collection and exposure for monitoring and troubleshooting at scale.

You will work with a mentor to deliver a scoped 12-week project focused on telemetry pipelines, platform scale, or service reliability, reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field
• Graduation between December 2027 and May/June 2028
• Experience with at least one programming language (Golang, Java, or Python)
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Hybrid work readiness: able to work 1–2 days per week in the Seattle office

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to observability data pipelines ingesting metrics, logs, and traces from production services
• Build backend services in Golang, Java, or Python to move telemetry reliably at scale
• Work with Kubernetes-based services on Azure and GCP to improve visibility and reliability
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and SLO/SLA views using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ClickHouse
• Help improve scalability, performance, and resiliency of observability platform components
• Collaborate to plan, implement, test, document, and demo a scoped 12-week internship project
• Participate in design reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
