Job summary

AdventHealth Littleton, CO seeks a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols. You will verify patient identity, prepare patients, and operate imaging equipment to produce accurate data for radiologists, while maintaining safety and documentation in EMR and PACS.

In a PRN, Day shift role, you will collaborate with radiologists and care teams, follow infection control standards, and participate in ongoing education to maintain

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards.
• Must possess patient care and communication skills for all ages; read, write and speak English.
• Ability to learn radiology software and PACS; maintain licenses and registries.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity, gathers history, and explains procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment, maintains documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Maintains infection control and uses PPE; ensures room readiness and supply levels.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging and patient care.
