Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Proficient in radiology software and PACS applications.
• Read, write and speak conversational English; strong patient communication.
• Maintain licenses and complete continuing education as required.

Responsabilités

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity, exam appropriateness, and gathers clinical history.
• Positions patients/equipment to acquire optimal images and data.
• Documents findings in EMR and PACS with accuracy and timeliness.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and privacy.
