Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist for part-time, day shift. You will perform high-quality ultrasound exams, verify patient information, and maintain thorough documentation in EMR and PACS while ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

The role requires knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and Doppler techniques, with ARDMS/ARRT eligibility preferred. BLS certification is required; associate degree in radiology or imaging is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a imaging or radiology program preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness; obtains clinical history.
• Positions patients and equipment; adjusts transducers and factors for optimal images.
• Maintains timely documentation in EMR/PACS; explains procedures to patients.
