Job summary

Women’s Care in Orlando is seeking a PRN Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, including nuchal translucency, fetal surveys, and 3D-4D scans across local clinics. This float pool role requires travel within the Orlando region and adherence to HIPAA and patient care standards.

The ideal candidate has OB/GYN ARDMS certification, at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years OB/GYN experience required.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Ability to travel to local clinics.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within the local region on an as‑needed basis.

• Must be willing and able to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• A minimum of 2 shifts per month is required.
