Job summary

Women’s Care in Brandon, FL seeks a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including routine and specialized procedures, with 3D-4D capabilities. The role requires ARDMS certification and 1–2 years of OBGYN or MFM experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OBGYN or MFM experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine ultrasound exams and specialized procedures as directed.
• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, and interprets what was captured.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner and treats all customers courteously.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
