Job summary

Women's Care in Tampa, FL is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations including routine OB/GYN and specialized procedures. You will document findings and help maintain patient records.

The role requires ARDMS certification, at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience, and the ability to work with 3D-4D scans. Excellent bedside manner and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS certification in OB/GYN.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to use electronic medical records (eCW a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations including routine OB/GYN and specialized procedures.
• Perform nuchal translucency scans and fetal surveys.
• Evaluate image quality and interpret findings.
• Document/update information in the EMR.
• Represent clinic professionally to patients and staff.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
