Job summary

Women's Care is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including 3D-4D scans, and document results in the EMR. The role requires OB/GYN ARDMS certification and 1–2 years of OB/GYN or MFM experience along with strong interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work a Monday–Friday schedule, with a potential sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for hard-to-fill roles, and be part of a team dedicated to quality patient care at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Valid Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 1–2 years OB/GYN or MFM experience preferred.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients clearly.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in an EMR (eCW a plus).

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women's Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
