Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including routine and specialized OB/GYN scans, as part of a PRN float pool. The role requires travel to clinics in the local region and adherence to HIPAA and clinic guidelines.

You will document findings in the EMR, maintain professional interactions, and participate in ongoing professional development. A valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification and at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• OB/GYN ARDMS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB/GYN experience is required.
• Experience with 3D‑4D scans.
• Must be able to travel to multiple clinics in the local region.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D‑4D scans.
• Evaluates image quality and documents findings in the EMR.
• Represents clinic professionally and assists patients courteously.
• Attends meetings and participates in team activities and professional development.
• Adheres to HIPAA rules and organizational values.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within the local region on an as‑needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D‑4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with 3D‑4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi‑task in a stressful, deadline‑oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
• Must be willing and able to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• A minimum of 2 shifts per month is required.
