Job summary

Women's Care is seeking a Sonographer for a PRN float pool, performing ultrasound exams including nuchal translucency, 3D-4D scans, and fetal surveys across Tampa Bay clinics.

Responsibilities include obtaining high-quality images, documenting results in the EMR, maintaining professional conduct, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines while traveling to assigned sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OB/GYN ARDMS certification is required.
• Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB/GYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to communicate courteously with coworkers, providers and patients.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in the EMR system (eCW a plus).
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within Tampa Bay on an as‑needed basis.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D‑4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
