Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Practice Manager (FGP) in Manhattan, OBGYN. This role provides administrative oversight of NYU OBGYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound offices, supervising clinical and administrative staff and managing schedules and resources.

You will develop policies with the Faculty Group Practice, monitor compliance, and drive initiatives to optimize scheduling, billing, and patient service while maintaining the highest standards of quality

Qualifications

• Five to ten years in healthcare operations, focused on physician practice.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Manager experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FGP OBGYN management to improve front-end operations and create consistent standards.
• Oversee daily management and operations of MFM and Ultrasound staff; review tasks and allocate resources.
• Establish office procedures and train staff; ensure cross-training and coverage across practice activities.
• Assist in implementing new technology to physician practices and address IT issues with vendors and staff.
• Oversee revenue cycle processes; monitor charges, denials, and billing performance; lead improvement efforts.
