Job summary

NYU Langone Health in Manhattan is seeking a Practice Manager (FGP) for the OB/GYN division. You will oversee the administrative and clinical staff, manage schedules and resources, and develop policies with the Faculty Group Practice to improve efficiency and patient care.

The role emphasizes operational leadership across Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound, with responsibility for front-end optimization, billing processes, and system-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years minimum experience in healthcare operations with emphasis on physician practice operations.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Manager experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally.
• Strong workflow analysis and business process integration skills.
• Ability to think systemically and understand the implications of policies and practices.
• Lead others for implementation of projects and organizational workflow redesign.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FGP OBGYN management to implement and monitor operational performance of front-end activities, including customer service and scheduling.
• Oversee daily management and operations of MFM and Ultrasound staff; review tasks, allocate resources, and evaluate performance.
• Establish office procedures, train staff, ensure cross-training and coverage across activities, and manage interrelated scheduling.
