Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is hiring a Practice Manager (FGP) for the Manhattan OBGYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ultrasound clinics. You will oversee clinical and administrative staff, scheduling, resources, and billing processes to ensure quality patient care.

You will lead front-end operations, implement new technologies, and drive revenue cycle improvements while collaborating with the Faculty Group Practice to uphold standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years minimum experience in healthcare operations with emphasis on physician practice operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally.
• Strong workflow analysis and business process integration skills.
• Lead others for implementation of projects and organizational workflow redesign.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FGP OBGYN management to implement and monitor front end operations, scheduling, and service standards.
• Manage daily operations of the MFM and Ultrasound staff, review tasks, allocate resources and evaluate performance.
• Establish office procedures, train staff, ensure cross-training and cross-coverage for administrative activities.
• Assist in implementing new technology for physician practices and address operational IT issues.
• Oversee revenue cycle processes, monitor charges, denials, cash flow and reporting.
• Support training and development, attend meetings, and participate in committees as requested.
• Perform other general administrative duties to support practice operations.
