Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an integral part of NYU Langone Health, seeks an Office Manager (FGP) for Manhattan, Surgery-Vascular. You will oversee daily practice operations, hire/onboard staff, manage provider schedules, and ensure policy adherence to HIPAA, compliance, and HR standards.

The role emphasizes improving patient access and experience, coordinating with physicians and regional leadership to implement operational initiatives and maintain performance metrics across the Faculty

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Good communication, interpersonal and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily practice operations including reception/phones, staffing and provider schedules.
• Hires, onboard, trains and manages staff.
• Ensures adherence to FGP policies and procedures and standards (HIPAA, Compliance, HR).
• Coordinates staff meetings and performance reviews; supports efficient workflows and patient access.
• Manages revenue cycle activities and participates in budget planning and business development.
• Supports staff training on workflows and standardization across the FGP.
• Acts as liaison with NYU Langone Health departments and external sites.
