Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will perform rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history assessments under provider supervision.

You will assist with procedures, sample collection, and CLIA-waived tests while maintaining safety, accuracy, and patient communication. Duties include vaccines, referrals, and scheduling support as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or military clinical training in lieu.
• Two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred in some divisions.

Aufgaben

• Adheres to MA scope of practice and policies while caring for patients.
• Performs rooming tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history and screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered and may perform labs per CLIA rules.
• Administers vaccines and medications following rights and safety protocols.
• Ensures clean, stocked work areas and proper instrument handling.
• Supports scheduling, referrals and patient communications as needed.
