Qualifications

• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required within 6 months.
• Active LPN license in the practicing state; completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• No prior experience required.
• Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, Windows, email, and electronic medical records systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients, staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to established policies and standards.
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and plan of care under supervision.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the nurse.
• Perform nursing tasks such as medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and venipuncture.
• Communicate changes in medical orders to the registered nurse.
