Job summary

Advocate Health's GCMG Charlotte OBGYN: Arboretum in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for obstetrics/gynecology. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8-5, with some schedule variability.

You will perform clinical tasks, assist physicians, administer medications, manage IVs, document patient information, and support patient education, under supervision. LPN licensure and BLS are required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, Windows navigation and EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams, obtain vitals and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications under orders, including immunizations and antibiotics.
• Initiate and manage IV therapy within scope of practice.
