Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Obesity) to cover IA, NE, and SD. You will act as a primary scientific resource for OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers, implementing medical strategy while ensuring data is accurate and balanced. This field-based role reports to the Obesity MSL Field Director and focuses on advancing the obesity pipeline.

Qualifications include a Doctorate or a Master’s/Bachelor’s with medical affairs experience. Preferred: Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D./D.O.

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent experience in Medical Affairs.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience qualifies.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience qualifies.
• Preferred: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. and other doctoral degrees considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary scientific/clinical resource to opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Support research and communicate clinical data with balance and compliance.
• Build relationships with investigators and institutions to advance the obesity pipeline.
• Lead or participate in projects and congress activities aligned with MSL strategy.
