Scorpion Therapeutics in the U.S. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specializing in obesity to serve as a scientific/clinical resource for healthcare providers, KOLs, and population health decision makers across IA, NE, and SD.
The MSL will advance scientific understanding of the obesity program, support clinical research sites, facilitate peer-to-peer engagement, and collaborate with internal teams to improve patient outcomes, with a field-based travel schedule within the territory.

Objectives include advancing scientific understanding of Amgen's obesity pipeline, supporting clinical research, and facilitating peer-to-peer engagement to improve patient outcomes.
Conduct peer discussions with healthcare professionals, support clinical investigators and research sites, communicate clinical and economic data, support and lead scientific congress activities, assist in speaker training, and collaborate on strategic projects. Maintain compliance and administrative tasks such as CRM updates and training. Build relationships and provide insights to internal teams.
Doctorate degree (Ph.D., MD, DO, Pharm.D.) or Master’s degree with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience; or Bachelor's with 5+ years in Medical Affairs. Preferred experience includes 1+ years in biotech/pharma Medical Affairs, cardiometabolic or obesity expertise, and clinical or research background.
Focus on obesity, cardiometabolic health, clinical research support, and scientific exchange within the U.S. territory (IA, NE, SD). Experience with designated territory management, congress activities, speaker training, and compliance standards is advantageous.
Field-based role with travel within the territory; reporting to an Obesity MSL Field Director.
